The Shaker Farm Historic District, nominated as the 10th historic district on the National Register of Historic Places, is a 266 acre spread of land comprised of 589 buildings that were constructed from 1906-1935, coinciding with the Van Sweringen’s involvement in its development.  Join Councilwoman Dunbar as she details the characteristics and significance of the Cleveland Heights’ district, discussing the necessity for and benefits of incorporating the Shaker Farm Historic District on the National Register.
